John Choi

Mr. Choi has over 20+ years of experience in drug development and global regulatory affairs at various biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.  Over his career, Mr. Choi has led the regulatory activities to support the development of various therapeutic modalities, including small molecules, therapeutic proteins, biologics, and cell and gene therapies, throughout the product lifecycle, including early Health Authority interactions to marketing application approval for rare and complex diseases.  Prior to joining TFF Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Choi was the VP, Head of Regulatory Affairs at Abata Therapeutics, Ambys Medicines, and Platelet BioGenesis.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Choi was the Global Regulatory Lead overseeing all regulatory activities for various assets at Rubius Therapeutics, ImmunoGen, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Intercell, and ICON Clinical Research.  Mr. Choi earned his M.S. in Biotechnology and B.A. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University and holds a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).
