The Role
As a Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as a key member of the Medical Affairs Team to advance the TFFP mission and vision. You will help develop and execute the strategy for the clinical development of key TFFP products, TFF VORI and TFF TAC. Working in this role, you will help identify gaps in the clinical experience and evidence gaps for the development of TFFP medicines across the full spectrum of healthcare system models. You will work to raise awareness about ongoing studies of TFF pipeline products and identify new potential research collaboration.
You will identify and engage clinical sites, Investigators and patient advocacy groups. You will help develop and support the key opinion leader strategy with specific focus on communicating fair and balanced TFFP data.
This is an opportunity to:
- Engage with key global, national, and regional opinion leaders, investigators and health care providers.
- Assist with site selection and engage Investigators and study coordinators with the goal to increase clinical trial efficiency and optimize enrollment.
- Assist with execution of the Expanded Access Program, site engagement, data collection, and follow up
- Organize and manage advisory boards.
- Lead medical congress and conference coverage by providing review of impactful data and medical insights
- Identify and build thought leader maps/tiering for clinical, policy pathway/formulary and HEOR experts
- Provide critical medical insights for internal stakeholders to shape strategy and directions
- Provide feedback on and assist with medical and HEOR and publications needs
About You
- You have an advanced degree, preferably a PharmD, MD, PhD, DO, NP, PA, and 5+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, with 4+ years within pharma/biopharma, ideally tied to successful product launches
- You are passionate about improving patients’ lives
- You have a strong therapeutic expertise in pulmonology/respiratory medicine, infectious disease, hematology/oncology, transplant or immunology
- You have a strong track record of supporting clinical trial execution through site selection, investigator and study coordinator engagement. You bring innovative approaches to study enrollment
- You are skilled in mapping out the patient journey and identifying areas of unmet need
- You know how to identify and engage key opinion leaders and scientific advisory board members. You are skilled in organizing and managing advisory board meetings
- You are comfortable working with academic centers and investigators on prospective clinical, HEOR and RWE studies. You are comfortable engaging patient advocacy groups
- You are comfortable presenting and discussing medical and scientific data and can “comfortably adjust” to the audience
- You have produced relevant publications and presentations and have a proven track record of teaching and education
- You are able to travel 40-60% of the time
